Deed wallets are expanding wallets used by many organisations for archive filing. They were originally called deed wallets or legal wallets since it was lawyers and solicitors who used them to store legal deeds. Many other organisations now use them.
Abbey Stationery have supplied deed or legal wallets to many organisations over the years, including Lawyers, Solicitors, Property Managers and the NHS. They are made from recycled sheet plastic and can come in a variety of colours. We are able to make bespoke folders in the client’s corporate colours and branding and we can also design the wallets with as many outer clear pockets as requested. The wallets are manufactured in 50mm or 100mm capacity, with a gusset to enable the file to expand and 4 options of fastening - security ribbon, button closure, Velcro and the standard flap.
A standard cardboard folder will disintegrate and can cause dust particles to encase all the other files and block up air conditioning units over years of archive storage . It will also absorb any moisture in the environment of a storage facility.
Our files are 100% non-degradable therefore eliminating a dirty, dusty environment. If water enters the archive area our folders are water-resistant, ensuring that the paperwork stays intact. Since the deed wallets are non-degradable and have a clear pocket in which to insert a label, they are fully reusable.
Abbey Stationery deed wallets are smart, colourful and hard-wearing, making for a clean and tidy archive facility.
